Content Sells 'KID CANNABIS’

17 May, 2008

The film stars Chris Marquette (‘Alpha Dog’, ‘The Invisible’, ‘Fanboys’) and Aaron Yoo (‘Disturbia’, ‘21’, ‘The Wackness’). More cast will be announced shortly.

Based on an outrageous true story from notorious ‘Rolling Stone’ magazine article, ‘KID CANNABIS’ is a riotous teen comedy about a wise-cracking high-school drop-out and his transformation into a multi-million dollar marijuana mogul.

The film is produced by Ross Dinerstein and Bobby Schwartz of Eleven Eleven Films (‘Unknown’, ‘The Grand’, ‘Powder Blue’ ‘The Killing Room’), John Stockwell, and Nicole Rocklin (‘Middle of Nowhere’).

Dinerstein said: “John Stockwell is a tremendous filmmaker with a great track record with fact based films.”

Jamie Carmichael, President of ContentFilm International said: ‘This is going to be a really commercial, high concept film from a great creative team. We’re delighted to continue working with Eleven Eleven and to work with John Stockwell on KID CANNABIS.’

ICM is handling the North American sale.
