ContentFilm gets TriBeCa title "I'm Reed Fish"

Zackary Adler's directorial debut stars Jay Baruchel and Alexis Bledel in a coming-of-age story in a small town. The ensemble cast also includes Schuyler Fisk, DJ Qualls, Victor Rasuk and Katey Sagal.

"I'm Reed Fish" is a production of Los Angeles-based Squared Foot Productions. The deal was negotiated by CAA's Roeg Sutherland and Brian Kavanaugh Jones, as well as Submarine Entertainment's Josh Braun, on behalf of Squared Foot producer Bader Alwazzan with ContentFilm's Jamie Carmichael, Graham Begg and Alexandra Keen.

Screenwriter Akiva Goldsman served as executive producer alongside Kerry Foster and Michael Mihalke

"My whole team saw "I'm Reed Fish" at TriBeCa and immediately loved it," said ContentFilm managing director Jamie Carmichael. "I think TriBeCa will prove to be a very good launching point for Cannes."

Added producer Alwazzan: "We are delighted that ContentFilm is as excited about I'm Reed Fish as we are. We love what ContentFilm has done with other films and look forward to working with them."

The film's score was created by Fisk and Faith No More's Roddy Buttom.
