HARRELSON AND MORTON JOIN ‘THE MESSENGER’

The film will star Ben Foster (‘3:10 to Yuma’, ‘X-Men’ franchise), Woody Harrelson (‘No Country for Old Men’, ‘The People vs. Larry Flint), Samantha Morton (‘Elizabeth: The Golden Age’, ‘Mister Lonely’), Jena Malone (Into the Wild, Cold Mountain), Eamonn Walker (Tears of the Sun, Unbreakable).

THE MESSENGER is a poignant, yet ultimately life affirming road movie that will make you laugh and cry.

Mark Gordon (‘Saving Private Ryan’, ‘The Day After Tomorrow’) and Lawrence Inglee will produce for the Mark Gordon Company, along with Zach Miller of Reason Pictures. Omnilab [Media Group] (‘The Bank Job’) and Sherezade Films Development (‘The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, ‘Smart People’) are financing the film.

Shaun Reddick and Nate Bolotin of The Collective teamed with The Mark Gordon Company and Reason Pictures to help package the movie and negotiate the financing, and will serve as Executive Producer. Co-writing credit goes to Alessandro Camon (debut).

ContentFilm International (‘Black Book’, ‘Thank You for Smoking’) will be selling the film at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
