Los Angeles, like most of the world, is now totally encased in ice due to a meteor hitting the sun. The few survivors are battling over the limited number of snow vehicles available. One such snow cat has been filled with the most unlikely mismatched group of survivors one could imagine and is headed on a long and dangerous journey to the Long Beach Harbor where they hope to board a ship bound for South America.
