More than 100 young black men have been killed by other young black men over the past five years, accounting for 1/3 of Toronto’s murders. Underneath this intimate account of a single murder and its effect on a victim’s family runs a narrative of a community under siege. It is a film about mothers and sons - mothers who not only grieve over the unsolved murders of their sons, but decide to do something about them.
