Cargo is a gripping film drama abut the fate of four Croatian refugees fleeing the misery and conflict of the Balkan wars in the 1990s. Mira (played by BAFTA-winning Daniela Nardini), along with Damia, Branko and Ivan embark on a journey of escape from their homeland, huddled in the back of a goods lorry. They are in search of a better life in Britain. But are they truly asylum seekers or opportunistic economic migrants?
