Utilizing the latest technologies, specially selected episodes of the series have been digitally remastered in PAL by Sony and Columbia/TriStar Television under the supervision of the program's original producer, Herbert B. Leonard. Newly scored music and enhanced effects have also been created to truly give the series a contemporary feel. 

In its original black and white format, the timeless tale of a dog and his young master, Rusty, found its way to more than 70 countries and was translated into multiple languages. When the series first debuted in primetime on ABC, it was an immediate success, dominating its Friday night timeslot and ranking #2 among all of the network's programming. Five years later, when the series moved to daytime, it quickly became ABC's #1 daytime program.  Throughout the years the success continued as the program changed time periods and networks. The show has an "evergreen" quality providing exciting family entertainment while offering advertisers a prime venue for reaching their targeted viewers in virtually any daypart. 

With 65 half-hours newly colorized and remastered, The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin will extend its unprecedented popularity in every corner of the world for yet another decade, replicating its proven network and cable track records for broadcasters around the globe.
