ANNUAL PRIMETIME EMMY® AWARDS

Fireworks International is proud to represent the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in the international distribution of rights to the Primetime Emmy® Awards.

This year the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards sees Ken Ehrlich, one of the industry's most accomplished producers of specials, concerts and notable live events return as executive producer for the fourth consecutive year.  It will air live from Los Angeles, California on Sunday, September 21st from the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles through the ABC Television Network in the United States.

In recognition of outstanding contribution to the television industry, the Primetime Emmy® Awards bestow the U.S. television industry’s highest honours for national primetime and late night programming, with awards presented in 27 categories including areas of exceptional merit.

The Primetime Emmy® Award is one of the most exciting and prestigious accolades in U.S. television and this spectacular entertainment event offers a guaranteed evening of glamour and star-studded talent, attracting millions of viewers around the globe.

Nominations for the Emmys® will be announced on Thursday, July 17th, 2008 from the Television Academy’s Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood.
