Legal Executive/Paralegal, London
(Temporary contract for minimum of 2 months)
We are currently looking for a legal executive/paralegal who will be responsible for reviewing acquisition, co-production and distribution agreements for all of our product, ensuring that all relevant information (i.e. rights, territories, languages, term of contract, etc) is correctly reflected in our rights management system (Comet).
The ideal candidate will have a law degree, as well as a thorough understanding of media rights and terminology such as internet, VOD, cable/satellite, ancillary rights, mobile, streaming, holdbacks, etc.

Seeking enthusiastic and hardworking Interns to work in our London office to assist our Legal and Business Affairs department. The position will be working to support the Legal and Business Affairs team. Applicants should be organized with plenty of initiative and good communication skills and should preferably have some legal experience. Hours are 9.30am to 6.00pm and you should be able to attend the office for at least two days a week. A per diem will be paid covering transport/lunch costs. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Interns to work in our London office to assist sales, marketing and distribution. Whilst working in these departments, some administrative assistance will be required, including receptionist work (a good time to read our library of scripts!).
Hours are 9.30 to 6.00 and you should be able to attend the office for more than one day a week, although we will consider those who can only make one day a week.

TV Contracts & Administration Assistant
(Full Time)
Fireworks International, a division of ContentFilm plc, acquires and distributes an extensive slate of television programs, feature films and digital content throughout the world and is rapidly expanding.
Reporting to the Director of Contracts and Sales Administration, this is a newly created position which would suit someone looking for a role they can develop and make their own. Responsible for the administration of the contracts process, the assistant will be dealing with distribution and acquisition agreements, deal memos and sales contracts
Responsibilities include:
Inputting license information to rights/contract management system (Comet);
Producing availability reports & assisting with rights queries; Monitoring & tracking deals;
Production of monthly sales reports and ad hoc reports as requested;
Filing, archiving and general administrative duties;
Close liaison with sales, finance & operations departments.
Requirements:
Knowledge and understanding of contracts, legal terminology, new media and digital rights;
Previous experience of rights management systems within a TV distribution company;
Strong administrative, organisation and communication skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications with advanced knowledge of Excel;
Ability to use initiative, prioritise competing workloads and work independently;
Good team spirit with a general willingness to get involved;
Adaptable and flexible approach.
